This policy explains what information the ROR mobile app collects, why, and how it's handled. ROR is a recovery-support app — the short version: we collect what's needed to run your account and personalize your recovery plan, we don't sell your data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
We collect the following categories of information when you create and use an ROR account:

We do not collect your precise location, browsing history outside the app, or contact lists.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
During onboarding, ROR asks questions about your recovery journey to personalize your plan (for example, frequency-based questions about habits or wellbeing). We treat these responses as sensitive health information:
You can decline to answer optional wellness questions where the app allows it, though doing so may limit how well your plan is personalized.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see §10); we'll complete deletion requests within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records by law (for example, payment records).
We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data protected and respond promptly to any issues.

ROR is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy as ROR evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
